Sounds nice with the black interior...and I see rear headrests! Then i read about the rust underneath....that ruined it...

"has some minor issues and some rust underneath" ... what the hell does that mean... Whatever. Nice color combination. I bet it's MBtec not leather...

I don't know, it could be leather, if they sprung for the rear head rest and probably a third row set in there. I do like the color combo too....

rust-wise it could be anything around here......it's a <$2k car what do you expect?

Just heard back. A bunch of interested parties but they may not sell as the rust isn't as bad as they where told by their mechanic.

first contact (2 weeks ago): "umm, i don't have the title yet, but....."

second contact (2 days ago): "two shops told me it was really rusty (one said it was so bad they wouldn't put up on their lift) but some guy just stopped by and said it isn't rust so....."

third contact (today): offered to look at it and clarify the rust situation but was told that dad from out of state is coming, maybe next week, to look at and owner will keep it if it isn't rusted.

my take: car has significant rust that is evident to professionals and undercoating (or lack of experience) is obscuring the severity from a casual observer...

something flaky going on and i hereby withdraw my offer to look at this car
