Sadly but not sadly I am listing my 87 300D, her name is Erma. I Bought this in the fall from JESUME, and its been a great reliable low budget piece of transportation but somethings have come up. Ive put about 5000 miles on it since September and a lot that driving mainly came from running from Columbus to Oxford (almost to Cincinnati) at least once a month sometimes more. So she has definitely proved herself as highway capable.

Parents helped me get an 03 Nissan Altima so here we are...

Some good details:

• 196,000
• #14 head
• Less than 5000miles on rear tires and fronts are at about 65%
• New flexible transmission cooler lines going to and from the radiator
• WORKING A/C (new condenser and new blower motor for HVAC)
• New fan clutch with original metal fan
• Tons of replaced vacuum line connections all over the engine compartment
• New Fuel rubber fuel lines in the engine compartment
• New Power steering lines in engine compartment
• Newer Brake booster
• EGR-delete plate
• Brand new battery with 3 year warranty

Some bad details:

• Back-end is wishy-washy, subframe mounts done look torn, but are definitely dry, as well as most of the rubber on the 5-link parts.
• Front end feels much better in comparison to rear end, but could probably use some upgrades
• Paint is cracking (spiderwebbing is worst on hood)
• Rust at the jackpoints is bad, but not affecting its drive ability at all and this is the only rust location
• Sunroof doesnt slide and gets caught coming back down from being popped up. It is currently silicone shut, but i did it in a way that one could easily peel it off to work on it (didnt let it compress into the cracks)
• Passenger rear window doesnt work
• Front drivers seat is ****ty looking
• 3rd. brake light housing back cover is broken so it fills the cabin with light when braking (i removed the bulb out of annoyance)
• Shifts like every other 87 ive had... not bad but not butter smooth either
• Battery drains after several days, all signs are pointing to cd-changer in trunk
• SALVAGE TITLE (read more below)

So the last week of exams before Christmas break someone backed into me while I was stopped and they were doing about 5mph. It cracked the front bumper, put two dents in the sides of the metal on the grill, and put a crack in each headlight housing. All this was enough to total the car and I bought it back from the insurance and drove as is. It passed state salvage inspection without repairing a single thing.
