1987 300D 180k Chicago For Parts...

I bought this car a little over a year ago and loved it but had the misfortune of getting rear ended and losing the transmission on it within a year. I have bought a new car and need to get rid of this one so I have room in the garage. Please message me and you can come look at it and make me an offer. I am willing to talk prices that will make it move but do make sure to be making better offers then a junk yard. Their is a good engine, injection pump, seats, wheels, suspension in this car. I will be getting some pictures up soon.

The Good
It has spent most of its life in Florida so it is rust free.
While it has been it Chicago it has been garaged.
It has a #14 head that is perfectly good yet. No oil in antifreeze or antifreeze in oil.
The seats seem like they are new. They are not original to the car(at least I think) The seats are a light beige and the rest is darker.
The engine has plenty of power, this thing can get up and go!
New beilsenes (can't spell) on the front and a new lower control arm about 6 months ago
I have two sets of wheels plus a spare. One chrome one gray. Gray has brand new tires with literally about 10 miles on them.

The bad.
I was rear ended. It is bad enough that it would be quite expensive to fix but I have been driving it for a year since the crash and most do not even realize it has been rear ended.

The tranny went out on me in December. Dealer says bad clutches. >$6000 bill from them if I would have them put in a remanned. Obviously you that would be interested in this car will do it yourself. Does not go into reverse. Will not up shift. If you hit the peddle real hard you can get it to up shift and you can get up to 70mph but once you settle in there it will down shift.

The valve cover gasket just started leaking... I have a new one that I was going to put in and goes with the car.
