1983 MERCEDES BENZ 300D

Come pick it up yourself fly in .will drive anywhere without any problems . Am factory trained MB Technican.alls good. Mechanical wise.
Things that dont work are
1.power antenna. you can push or pull it up by hand no biggie
2.fuel gauge not that accurate when getting close to 1/4 tank.
3.glow plug light dont come on ...yes it has all New Glow plug.just the relay light dont work it does glow and starts.with no problems. Will.start in 21 degree weather I do know that.
Me personally I drove it to . empty just to see . Gets anywhere from 425to 460 miles per tank till empty with Ac on. And a whooping 528 most ever with no Ac at all. I never owned it long enough to try highway mpg. Well no Vacations
I just carried a 1 gal fuel tank in car when I ran out .thats how I know miles per tank .
pull over add 1 gal. Pop hood ,has new primer pump dont even had to unscrew this one..just pump it up and get to a gas station. Or fill up at 380 miles in see How many gals you out in it. Holds like 21.6 gals empty. Thanks. I drove this car to work and back cause it got the best mpg out of all my cars.

Car has low mileage due do it sat at the MB dealership here for 10 yrs. They rebuilt the transmission and it never pulled again. I got it from a technican I knew who brought it.then gave up and sold it to me. I had a good used trans that I pulled out of a wagon yrs. Ago. I but in there and drove it for 4000 miles till.the rev. When out. So I rebuilt the whole transmission. I put 1000 on it. Then the plant where I worked shut down. was a half sit down job.
I have a 91 560SEL now it get 13 city and 19 highway. Have no need for the 300D now. Since Iam home due to Servre Arthritis

This car is Nego. Now. I put it at that price cause everyone beats you down. And if I was even to.price it say at 2500 .they'd beat my down on that even. Since am a mb tech believe me the car the right.
out of the 5000 miles a drove it it used no oil whatsoever. Also no oil or fluid leaks. If I didnt have 8 cars total. Id keep it. But I need to sell 3 others also. Race cars that is. Just getting out of it due it health.
So make my some offers . Cruise control. Works. And I even brought I new tach amp cause I had to have a working tach. Good.shocks also.2 new rear axles.shafts .all maintenance as been done. Yes it due for an oil change in 1500 more miles..transmission like I said 1000.miles.on it. And filters when replaced 5000.miles ago. 2 new front brake calibers new pads front and rear. Drivers seat spring is good interior is in great shape. It done have a 5000 dollar paint job but its better then a factobake job they do here in town.

Sold. $2500 to one of my mercedes customers,,,Project wagon next. Whos game. Havent t not seen.yet. not listed.a.freing knows where theres one sitting at. I.sure hope its got good interior. And a motor that starts when cold or will.have a pos.lol
