FS:350sdl project plus much more

Well guys Im being forced to clean out the storage (hoard).
1991 350sdl bought with bad motor a few years back. Had it painted base/clear, good driver quality. Pulled seat had some leather changed, bought dye to spray seats. Pulled old motor (frozen).....and there it sits. I have a parts car to go with it, also bad motor, but has a #17 head and good trans. Also have a 3.0l 603 out of a 300d with 110k ran great when pulled. These 2 cars would make on really nice one and spares. Also have a 420sel parts car...engine shot, tree fell on drivers quarter and trunk, but has good blue interior.
Also have a early 80s 300d w123, was going to be my driver. Rust free (seriously)... faded grey paint. Was half way thru redoing carpets and installing a wvo system when life got to hecktick. Been in storage last 2 years, evidence of a mouse living in it, got the mouse, but his nest left a smell.
Also a set of bbs rims, need refinishing and center caps (w126), w126 stock rims (15 hole??) and a set of eibach 126 lowering springs....
possible set of clk rims also...Im sure I'll find more stuff

Give me a call if interested in all (can make a great deal) or some...
May trade for running non project vehicle

Judging by the looks of the driver seat from what I can see which is vague, it is either a 83-84 300D? So it is a turbo model, right...

believe its a 83. Yes turbo. Will look for title tonight.

Anyone who can buy all as a package will get one hell of a deal. can keep outside storage for a couple months if needed.

wish you were closer --- there's an OM603 available in the Memphis, TN neck of the woods. It would be a perfect engine for your 350SDL with no engine.

What kinda number are you thinking for the whole shebang? I count four cars, a running (presumably) engine, three sets o' wheels and a set o springs. I've got a hauler, just need to find time. I hate when I get these thoughts. Hopefully your pricetag will reset my focus. HA

No kidding! Somehow don't think this deal would even materialize if he lived out this way.

But , he has one sitting there, ready to drop in already, why get another?

No, you're not way off. Someone will get a good deal here. Understand that your market for cars that aren't running is extremely small so it might take some time to find the right buyer.

A suggestion, though. Dropping the motor into the car and getting it to running condition would definitely increase your buyer pool/sale price without much work expended. Seems you're so close and the return too good to not do that.

Wish you luck with your sale, regardless. I jumped on another SDL this past weekend so now a round trip across the country for me is merely wishful thinking.
