Craigslist......300D, Manual Transmission, SF Bay
As mentioned before, they almost always look good on-line.
This sedan was listed about a month ago and it obviously did not sell. Looks decent though..... 1984 Mercedes-Benz 300D Sedan Blue, Classic, Great Shape |

what a gorgeous car! if it was a wagon it would be mine! strange Title classification, rebuilt? is that another word for salvage or something?
I never search the dealer listings prefer to stay away from those type of transactions because they seldom provide any records they can turn back speedometers and have been known to hide things to make a car appear better that it is.

Its worthy of an inspection but I think its about 3k to much. It looks like it is missing its cloth interior, hard to tell but the door card looks like it has fabric. Rebuilt aka salvage title is kind of scary, not knowing why....OD on a euro use to be KM and most of the time the KM was transferred to MPH when it was imported...It does appear to be nice but at that price I would want the original interior.

Back fees
Sometimes a car can have lots of back fees for registration. A dealer can do away with those as well so it could have been just that. It does look like a sweet ride. Same color as mine, but the paint looks better. Mine is showing its age. Sweet ride though. For the price it should be a five gear.
