Wanted: W210 2000-2002 E55 AMG

Hunting very hard for a W210 E55. Must have under 110,000 miles and no rust. Open to all color combos and options.

I am in South Carolina but not afraid to travel or ship.

Thanks for any leads. My email is littlehandegan@aol.com

Why not a W211 E55 with more low-end torque and high end horsepower?
W211 E55 gets 10.4 second quarter miles with no traction control mode on and right tires.

Either way, both are cool but I am looking for a W211 E63 with a more refined NA motor.

I would agree....the W211 even still retained the 722.6 5 speed transmission in AMG form.....both would be fun cars though, and a W210 will be cheaper to obtain.

W210 is bulletproof and has no where near the issues of a W211 which has air suspension, a supercharger and more.

That Airmatic system provides twice the ride of a W210 with reliability.
All the whiners don't take care of their stuff and expect it to "fix" itself when something goes wrong. It's hard to take them seriously or even read it.

I wouldn't call the W210 E55 "bulletproof" either. It has its fair share of issues too.

Bulletproof was the late W124 500E. A true gem by all means, and far by less computers than both cars we are comparing. Collector status is inevitable for the W124 500E and they are going for pennies right now.

Happy hunting in your finds. Post your findings for us when you get your car.

I know this post is quite a few months old, but why the requirement for lower miles? These cars age very well when taken care of. My 01 currently has 251k miles on it, everything still works, no rips in the seats, no cracks in the dash, runs perfectly. I get compliments on it quite often and people are always shocked to hear how many miles it has. The engine/trans in these if taken care of correctly are awesome, even with 251k miles I can still get mid 20's mpg, and I ran within half a second of the original 1/4 mile time the car was stated to do, that is with terrible wheel spin.

A low miles AMG might just mean the person used it to roar from traffic light to traffic light in the city its whole life, or left it in the garage except when they took it to the track or something. Miles can be deceiving!

There's an E55 wagon that meets your requirement in Plano, TX. Think it was on the MBWorld site. It's stunning
