300 LWB?
I didn't see any reference to long wheel base which BTW was not available in the 123 sedan but the seller needs a reality check. Euro bumpers, cracked dash, obviously a fixer

There was a LWB W123 (as the pictures clearly demonstrate), but not in the US market.

I think the bigger question is if it is turbo or naturally asperated.

That upholstery is to die for! IIRC the jump seats don't have seat belts so using them could be an issue.
It would cost more than $30K to make it worth more than $30K. The LWB 123 was available as a 240D (OM616), 250 (M123) and 300D (OM617), none of which had a turbo. Swapping in a 617 turbo shouldn't be more difficult than with a standard wheelbase 300D. Being an '85, it probably has a 722.3 transmission. Sixto MB-less |

It has 722.4 (617.91 engines were available only with 722.1 or 722.4 series automatics [except manual]).
And has original 15" wheels with hubcaps (I'm not sure - following by the photos). Ciao! |
