We've gone and decided to sell our trusty little 70 220D because we just haven't the room anymore We bought the car in 2008 from an exotic motor dealership that had it sitting in a mechanics lot waiting for an injection pump replacement. It was a one owner car until the original owner passed and his wife sold it to the dealership. It was sitting in a barn out in Mecca, California for 18 years and when I called the original owners son to ask some questions about the car, he said because it had developed an oil leak his father decided to park it as not to ruin the engine and there it sat for 18 years. After the injection pump was installed the car came right back to life, but needing immediate work, many lines, cables, hoses and mostly all things rubber had dry rotted and needed immediate attention. We replaced brake lines, coolant hoses, master cylinder, alternator, got the valves adjusted, vacuum pump, radiator cleaned, power steering fixed, a massive oil leak fixed and feels like so much more.

We have all paperwork and most of the paperwork for the repairs mentioned above. We have the original window sticker for the car, manuals, service receipts dated to 1971 and nearly every registration renewal since the car was new. The car itself has been in California its whole life and runs really well in fact I drive it off and on with no problems, she just smokes a lot. Unfortunately since the odometer only has 5 digits we ourselves aren't sure of the exact mileage but when I talked to the original owners son, he told me they used to take it from CA to Oklahoma twice a year and he even drove it to Sonora, Mexico and we've put about 30,000 miles on it since we've had it.
