Hi

The car is SUPER clean with new tires, shocks, front rotors, break pads, oil, air and diesel filters ( including the diesel tank) . It also has 5 new glow plugs. The last one broke into the block. I'm sure It can be pulled out somehow,( I was reading the boards on how ) but I just don't have the time. There is no doubt in my mind that the car will start if it is put back together. She just broke 200000 miles and is not burning any oil whatsoever. Always kept on synthetic oil and clean diesel.You don't want this car for parts, it is in too good of a shape be used for parts.

Considering I have a decent running car listed for $700 that no one is buying so far....good luck with a non running one at 3k You're going to need to fix that glow plug and put it back together if you expect to sell that car above 1k.

Maybe, but the car is a peach. I mean new Michelin tires, muffler, shocks, rotors, break pads, all the filters, and no rust on it what so ever. :-) I can probably make more money if I sale it for parts. It is is not a parts car. it was my daily driver and it is VERY clean.

Whether or not you replace the glow plug, your best bet for being able to sell it is to have it in running condition so people can evaluate it as a car that they can drive. A broken glow plug is a deterrent but not a deal-breaker. You are certainly correct that the car will start easily with just five plugs regardless of how cold it is.

there is one for sale here that needs a spring perch welded on and he's asking 3500! no doubt you make more parting it but the trade off is the work plus having a half-parted car sitting around. i would take the wheels and tires and the blower motor if you do!
