FS: 1988 300TE
I'm sorry that it's come to this. I'm selling Oldirty88 after letting it sit for two years. The engine wont turn over and I haven't devoted much time into sorting it out. It's on craigslist but if there's any interest here please let me know.
Thanks |

That's a lot for a car that won't run. Especially an M103 gasser.
Any idea what went wrong?

Won't turn over, or won't run? Won't turnover indicates the starter can't get the engine to move when you try to start it. How many miles?

It could be a simple fix but either way the market really stinks for any M103 powered W124 right now. |

Stinks even more for M104s

LOL I know right. I pay about $500-700 for non running M103/M104s. $1500.00/2000.00 for an immaculate W124 gasser. There isn't any market for them. I can get twice the fuel economy in an OM603 or OM602 with a 5-speed any day. Not worth it.

Thanks for the feedback. Of course the price is negotiable, especially here on the forum so feel free to make an offer. I'd really like to have it out of the driveway ASAP. I'll lower the CL listing in a few days, then if still no interest there or here, off to the bone yard. Thanks again. |
