84 300SD and 82 300SD
I have been tossing around the idea to part with my 300SD's.
What I have is an 84 300SD that i have had for the last five plus years. 186k when i purchased it. 207k+ miles body has rust in usual areas, but presentable. heat and AC work R12 has slow leak at shaft seal. Blower motor can be wonky. I have kept up on most of the maintenance. Regular oil changes and valve adjustments.Runs very well. A short list of replaced parts. New timing chain and guide rail last fall. Tires have less than 4k miles, non stock rims, have the factory rims. Replaced both upper ball joint/control arms Replaced both lower ball joints. Upgraded alternator New battery New ignition tumbler Rear flex coupler The above repairs were done in the last 6-18 mos and I have not put many miles on it. When I purchased it I replaced the front rotors, calipers, front and rear pads and front flex lines, fuel lines, reman Bosch injectors. I replaced all four shocks around 2012, all Bilstein I replaced all the glow plugs in 2012 also. lots of misc parts like new bumper chrome and other items i have forgot. Interior is not great. Now for the 82 I bought this down in Georgia as a roller. It had a manual conversion done. The body is VERY solid. Interior is poor. My plan was to drive the 84 until the body got rusty and swap the drive train to the 82. My schedule and other hot jobs will prevent this from ever materializing, so i thought I would put it out there. I don't have any pix on the work computer, but in my avitar is the 84. I was thinking around $1400 for both. I will get some pix loaded up as soon as i can. Last edited by Quirky Mercy; 09-22-2014 at 11:12 PM. |

What color is the 82? Where are you located? Do you have a price for just the manual 82?

Gatorwesty location
I think the abbreviation he used for his location (S/E Mi.) is short for Southeast Michigan as in Detroit or vicinity.
