Forsale: 1984 300D Turbo Lapis Blue $6000
My good friend has decided to sell his beautiful Lapis Blue 1984 300D because he has purchased a new truck for a daily driver. It currently has around 189K miles on it.
This vehicle runs and drives great, it has been a daily driver for a while now, I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a cross country trip tomorrow. It has many new parts on it, which are listed below. All power windows are in working order. ACC system functions properly. AC system was converted to r134a Freon, with an upgrades parallel flow condenser which helps significantly in making cold air in hot Florida traffic. Interior of vehicle is in great condition for being a 1984. Seats front and rear are great, no rips or tears anywhere and the horse hair padding is still like new. The seat springs in all seats are still firm and supportive, even in the drivers seat. This is a very comfortable vehicle for long road trips. Dash does show some normal cracks that can be seen in photos, and the wood around shifter is beginning to crack nothing major just cosmetic. Headliner is in great condition as well. Elastic seat back nets are still like new as well. Electric sunroof operates perfectly and does not leak! Sunroof was removed when vehicle was painted, and all seals around sunroof were replaced with new MB seals. Front and rear windshields have also been removed to replace the weather stripping around glass with new Mercedes seals. All vacuum operated accessories work great, such as the ACC vacuum pods, door locks, engine shut-off. Odometer, clock, and all gauges work perfectly. New aftermarket Kenwood radio with CD player and aux inputs, has very high quality MB quart speakers in the rear hat shelf providing a great sound. Power antenna does need to be wired in however. This 300D Turbo drives great, and makes no abnormal sounds during operation. Front suspension has been rebuilt by the previous owner in Gainesville, Florida. Engine Starts instantly(sign of great compression in all cylinders)and runs great with very little smoke even under hard acceleration. Vehicle averages about 26MPG mostly highway driving. Easily go over 400 miles on a tank of diesel fuel. Engine does not leak or burn any engine oil, oil and filter was changed every 4000 miles with Mobil Delvac 15w-40. Transmission is in great condition and is also leak free. Transmission shifts great, does not slip and does not slam into gears like many W123's can do when out of adjustment. The car is absolutely rust free, No rust anywhere on the exterior of the car. The trunk is solid as well as the floor boards. The sunroof pan is also rust free. The hood hinge pockets are 100% rust free, many W123's rust badly in this area but this one is like new. This vehicle is a great daily driver or a weekend car, it is by no means a project car, this car can be driven and trusted to go anywhere. The 195/70 r14 Firestone tires still have 75% tread remaining however the front tires show signs of being dry but they still have life left in them, tires are not needed immediately. Below is a small list of parts recently replaced -Group 49 Battery(1000CCA's) -ACC Push Button Unit Rebuilt from Programa -Fresh fluids and filters, engine, transmission and rear differential fluid, power steering fluid and filter, Zerex G-05 antifreeze, brake fluid -New Fuel filters, Primary and Secondary -Fuel Primer Pump -Rack Damper Bolt on Injection Pump -New tierods(Right and Left side) and Drag Link -Upper and Lower Control Arm Bushings -Idler Arm Bushings -Front and Rear Shocks -Brake Master Cylinder -Rear calipers and pads - Front Brake Pads and Wear Sensors -Oil Cooler Hoses -All 4 belts -Upgraded 80AMP Alternator -Shift Linkage Bushings -Monovalve for heater - ACC blower motor -Driver and Passenger Window Switches -Rear sway bar links -Fan clutch -Thermostat -Water Pump -Radiator -Upper and Lower Radiator Hoses - Motor Mounts, Transmission Mount, Center Carrier Bearing Support -Exhaust Hangers - VDO Temp gauge sendor -Cleaned Fuel Level Sensor in tank -Main Vacuum Line from pump to Brake Booster -Windshield Washer Nozzles and Check Valve Let me know if you have any questions or would like anymore pictures.
