FYI, this car CDI is advertised on my dealer wholesale only site for $7995. He lowered it and said this is the last weekend before it goes to auction. Sale ends Monday. Great deal even with the issues. SBC system should still be under warranty. Good options too.

I talked to seller. The car is available but he asked me to correct the price. He is not selling for 7995. Price is 8500 plus 170.00 tag and title fee. If you are a car dealer the price is 8300. I'm going to pass at that price. If I hadn't just bought myself a 1999 E300D for my driver i would buy this one. But I have too many cars now and this one needs some work to flip.

I have proof it was advertised on OVE for $7995, but he was obviously taking a bath on it and has reconsidered...understandable. The used car business is miserable right now.

Still a good price for $500 more.

IS anyone concerned about the SRS/engine light? I know nothing about a mercedes this new? We're pretty interested in it on this end..

Very common on the w211. Seat occupancy sensors I think the most common. They make a bypass sensor. Some other minor things.

Wish me luck I had a friend looking for a car a couple days ago and she bought my 99 so I could jump on this one. I car faxed it and seems all clear. It was a lease originally. Anyone need a car fax let me know. Pm.

If you want a 190d 5 spd and are in Dallas? I could deliver it. Lol.

Seems like a nice guy. He's picking me up at airport and gave it to me for 8500 icluding ttl out the door.

What should I check for? Hopefully they have a lift I can get under it.

Ah sweet! The spouse and I deceided that I needed a car worse than the other. So we are going to look for a diesel ML for me. The CDI was/is a nice car. The carfax was clean and the seller seemed very cool. I'm glad another forum member got it. Guess the spouse is keeping the tdi jetta for awhile.
