This wagon is making my 300D sedan look bad! Awesome price for a really straight looking car. How is this still for sale!?

Thanks for the kind words my friend. When I was really, really looking for a w124 diesel wagon, they couldn't be found for any kind of a fair price. Took me almost a year to finally get one. Then right away I got another (this one).

Now that I have one for sale it's gong to probably just be a waiting game. There'll be someone out there who has always wanted one. We'll see

I think there's a lot of us here who have always wanted one... the problem is, many of us also have wives or mothers .

We're heading back home to Virginia tomorrow, am going to put the wagon up on the VA Craigslist as soon as we get there. Price here on this forum will remain the same, but the CL add will be a little higher because of the crowd in going to have to deal with

Thought I'd answer some common questions that have been getting asked;

1) Nope - The A/C does not work. I haven't troubleshot it at all, sorry.

2) Smoke - I just took it on a test drive for a fellow who came to see it, the car smoked alot for the first 10 minutes, but after it got to 80 on the temp gauge, 95% of the smoke stopped and it only smoked like a normal, 250K+ mileage Mercedes.

3) What's included with the car; Pair of very nice SLS rear shocks with hoses (the flex skirts are still intact), an untested Becker cassette stereo, complete sunroof carriage, spare sunroof motor and stiff cable, medium sized box full of little extra interior parts and screws and stuff.

4) What's wrong with the SLS, what will it take to fix it? I'm not sure, it leaks fluid from the right rear suspension area, I have not found the leak, I have never removed an SLS shock so I can't tell what the work involves. The car can be driven like it is, but if you go too fast over rolling hills or into a bump, it will max out the coil springs. The reservoir is pretty much empty. I have not had time enough to really dig into this problem, and I do not intend to, sorry.

5) The title is clean, we have it here in our home.

6) Nope, sorry, I am not interested in any trades or a payment plan (been asked about both of these items).

7) Lastly, I forgot to mention, the front lower valence is gone. It wasn't there when I bought it, I don't have a replacement nor do I know how it broke off. It being gone actually made it a little easier for me to retrieve tools and parts that I dropped down the front of the engine when I was working on it

Hope that helps !

....Me too.

I've moved the wagon around a bunch this week (needed the covered space to work on my truck and Klause), now everytime I start this wagon there is no longer any smoke.

If I still have it next weekend I'm gonna put the rest end up on jack stands and really analyze the SLS leak. If I can fix it for free I will. After that, I guess I'll pull the headliner and yank the old sunroof out and install the replacement. If I go that far into working on the car I'll have to ask more for her

On a side note, day before yesterday I went to the Spotsylvania P/P to look for a part for my truck, I spotted a 95 e320 wagon, same color as mine, gorgeous shape (small engine fire) - perfect tail light lenses, rear hatch parts and complete cargo net assembly. Light tan interrior. I am getting completely out of the wagon business, so I did not grab anything. I made a promise to my wife
