WTB Euro 123 diesel
I REALLY preferr a 300D 5speed. But a 4 speed or a 240D manual would do right now. I really love the 123 and want another, and have an itch for a euro car.
Let me know what you have! |

I have not seen a Euro model with manual available but this is what I have read about that may be interesting:
Macon paper - 1985 300D, (478) 743-4641 - taupe (whatever in heck that is). Anyway, I called the guy and he said it has 220k or so miles and he was asking $5k. I told him I would call back if interested. Another one I see in Autotrader is an '84 that says "transmission replace" AND new paint (1 yr) says $3300/obo. He goes on to say it runs great. (678) 376-8088. I do not have any interest in either car but could possible go check out the one at the (478) area code. I thought $5k was alittle much with that milage. I would assume both cars to not have any rust. I may be interested in parting with the '83 240D with the recently rebuilt engine with a tranny that shifts like brand new BUT it needs a paint job. Showing 122k and I feel pretty certain that is accurate.

Is the 240D an auto?
Yes, $5k sounds like alot for that car. I really was looking for a euro car, I can get US 123's everywhere around here, and was really looking for a 4 or 5 speed. John |
