I have a 1984 Mercedes european 300D for sale. I am selling for a friend of mine. I have been around this car for the past 5 years and can tell you that the owner is very meticulous about the car. Mechanically the car is perfect. Yes the car has cold AC. Here is a little about the car. He was running it on vegetable oil and a couple of years ago he killed the engine and had an engine with 160,000 put in by a reputable Northern California Mechanic ( DieselKraut / Garrett ). Transmission was rebuilt 6 months before engine died. ( Can get pictures of engine swap if you need ). Since then no vegetable oil has ever been put through this engine. Engine is suprisingly somewhat quiet and purrs with that perfect clatter.Suspension was rebuilt 2 years ago. New tires 3000 miles ago. All 4 shocks are bilsteins and new and stiff. Drives true and straight down the road. Brakes are in excellent shape and you only have to barely touch the brakes. All the vacumn door locks function properly as well. All the gauges work and he added more guages to ensure proper care of this benz.

Exterior and Interior I would rate a 7 and a 7. 239,000 miles.There are flaws but the car still retains original paint and interior after 31 years. Just a very cool car and has all the european cool things about it. I would trust driving this car anywhere in the United States and it not skipping a beat.
