1975 Mercedes 300d w115 California

For sale is my 1975 Mercedes 300d w115 with a 4speed manual swap. Used to have an auto tranny but it crapped out so I put this in there. Had someone install it and it drives, but there is something in the clutch that is a little off.. I'm not good with transmissions. Has a brand new clutch, everything is adjusted to run but it seems like the fork in the clutch is off. You can jam the gear in and it will drive. Motor is solid. It has a i5 diesel and runs perfect. I installed glow plugs from Mercedes source that start the car first try every time even in cold conditions. New ball joints on front top and bottom of the A arms. Brand new Bluetooth radio with Rockford fosgate 6x9. Odo reads 5xxxx but it is stuck. Cut and balanced drive shaft with new flex disc both ends. New rear axle to match manual tranny with brand new cv axles. Interior is in pretty good condition. Some cracks and tears but is still pleasing to the eye. Has manual electric fan and clutch fan that was taken out. New battery that has been used only for half a year. It is a little dirty but here are pics when I had the auto transmission in it and it was running. Well it runs still but just needs manual tranny adjustment. Did fabrication to get the manual tranny to fit. Newer engine mounts. Previous owner put in new alternator. Sorry I'm all over the place but I'm trying to list everything from the top of my head. I'm not trying to hide anything I want the buyer to know everything I know about it. Tires are in decent shape. Rides smooth almost like a boat. Asking $2700 obo in flexible with price bring a trailer. California Fresno area. Taking a loss I put on these new parts and was not able to really drive it a lot. Hasn't been sitting for too long maybe a half year but it was started and driven a little. Thanks - derek

Cmon guys I'm open to offers. In my honest opinion if the clutch of transmission is adjusted I believe this can be a good runner. Engine is solid many things have been replaced so there's not too much to it.

Pulled the transmission out to look and it looks like the clutch fork is no good. Going to see if I can get fixed.

Ac was removed because it had leak and is in the trunk, I originally planned on installing a brand new ac unit in, but I am too busy. It is a dark green.

It is in good shape just needs bearings. It's at the transmission store right now. Could not fork up the money to et it completed because I had to spend $1000 on a repair on my Jeep... So this repair has been put off. But the transmission expert took it apart and is ready to put it back together for a cost of $800. I'm willing to just let her go at this point been too busy.

The car should be running soon. Having the transmission guy rebuild it. Just need to install and drive. Will keep you posted about the car and its condition once I get it on the road.
