FS in Pa.- 1975 Peugeot 504 turbodiesel 5 speed Sunroof $4200

yes I know they didn't make a 504 turbo w/ a 5 speed, but....

this 504 had a 1985 505 drive train and interior swapped into it!
505 TURBO from a 1985 donor 505 - likely @165,000 miles on this engine. XD3T 2.5 Liter
runs and drives really well and has almost no rust

4 Bridgestone Insignia SL 205/75R14 75% tread on Peugeot Turbine style wheels.
Has cold A/C. Unit from a 79 504.
Power windows, all around and power sunroof.
Power door locks with remote Key-less entry.
Alpine radio w/CD player. Automatic power antenna.
Front and rear seats are Grey leather seats from an 86 505 in good condition.
All instruments, switches Etc. works as they should.
All glass is in very good condition, front windshield was replaced.
Speedometer is accurate to within 3%, from the larger wheels/tires.
Car is a great driver, in the last couple years, the previous owner used it on some longish trips to FL and also to Indiana, and some shorter commutes to NY.
I only drive it locally but it is a cool car to drive around

gets around 25 – 28 mpg in local driving and 30 -32 on highway trips, with the XD3T engine,
Car is a real joy to drive and fairly quick of the line (for a diesel), handles great and very comfortable on long trips.
Antique Pa plates
please email for more pics
looking for $4200 obo

Man reminds me of my 81 505td with a 5spd. That car was an awesome freeway cruiser. It had plenty of power. But boy that 5spd was notchy. Loved that car. It had an olive green interior. That is a cool 504 and not a bad price for one sorted.

it has a giant sunroof like the mercs but it i tough getting used to the ignition on the left side of the column and turning it towards you to start it!

Nice looking 504 and a great swap! These are a great work horse.

The 504 and 505 wagons were the true bush taxi of choice in most African countries; similar to the w123's many of them can still be found in service today.

Good luck with the sale!

thank you. back in the early 80's i worked with a man from iran at a saab dealership. he would rave about the 504 as the best car in the world and he was adamant about it! i always liked the look of them

I don't need it, but I have forwarded it to every wacky euro car enthusiast friend of mine so someone else can buy it but I can be around it!

Such a neat car, that I sadly have no use for. Good luck with the sale, I'm going to keep emailing it around!

Email sent, I'm more curious than serious buyer but would love to see pics. I love the styling on these things. I'd be happy to host on my photobucket if you want more pics in the thread here.
