fs - 1993 300TE white/palomino

I purchased this car last year with a bad transmission which I of course replaced. Then I got carried away replacing a bunch of parts and cleaned up the car to the best of my ability. Upgraded the older 15 hole wheels to the 1994 8 hole wheels with brand new Michelin Defender 195/65/15 tires. Current CA DMV fees up to date and paid to 01/26/2016. Car passes smog no problem

Yes, it has a lot of miles 256K, but it drives great and leaks no fluids. AC is ice cold This car is not Concours, but it is very respectable IMO

1993 300TE WHITE/PALOMINO (MBTEX)

VIN: WDBEA92E2PF248725

This car was not optioned with the third row jump seat.

A partial list of recent work done:

New Blower Motor and regulator

Replaced AC compressor

New upper shock tower mounts

Bilstein HD shocks

New Michelin Defender tires

Replaced steering wheel from a low mileage W124

New hood pad

New Serpentine belt

Bosch battery

Baseline all fluids, oil, coolant, sls, ps, and brake

New rear hatch struts, Stabilus

New rear wiper arm

New front wiper arm

New antenna mast

New Key

replaced alternator

Bosch euro lights, used but very good condition

The car is remarkably stock with no mods other than the Alpine head unit and the front Bilstein shocks. I have the Clean CA Title in hand Mileage is at 256K but you would not know by looking at or driving the car.

If buyer prefers the late model 94/95 hood with correct lights I will include at no extra charge, but I will need the pre face lift euro lights in exchange.

This car is a 1993 so it has the 3.2L M104 engine.

$4,800.00

Jeff

Hi Jeff, very nice looking wagon!
Earlier in the year I bought a 95 wagon and have been putting a lot of miles on it. I had to replace the exhaust system as there was a hole where it was rubbing on something, the PO hadn't dealt with that but O/W in better than average condition. Replaced MAF and engine harness.
I need new shocks in the rear hatch, I bought them but need to install them, looks a bit harder than replacing 123 shocks but will see.
I love the feel of the 124 wagon, they are very solid, a quiet ride with great SLS and the M104 has plenty of power.

I will always drive a wagon and now that my 123 has around 330K on it I figured it was time for an upgrade, I had been looking for a 124 wagon a long time, most of what I saw had suspensions that were shot, were high milers with no maintenance or were overpriced ($8K for a black one, and I didn't want a black car). Finally found one from Washington on CL with 120K on it almost all freeway miles and a one owner car.

I would have bought yours in a heartbeat.
Someone is going to get a great car!

Very nice looking wagon, I love the utility and nice ride of the 124 wagons.

If you have photos of the car with the Euro lights I suggest updating these ^^ as the Euros make the car's front-end look much nicer and higher quality IMO.

Like my wagon also without wipers. I think by 94 95 that was an option, most early 124's I see had headlight wipers standard, that's one thing I don't need!

You are correct, in '94 MBUSA started their cost-cutting and made the wipers optional, fairly unusual on US '94/'95 124s.
