If I didn't have my beautiful '95 E300 and the rusty - dented '99 E300 (driving like a dream) I'd scoop this up tomorrow. I will send this link around to my buds and try and generate some interest. I'm originally from Woonsocket/Providence and still have many connections.

Well that was a surprise...guy came from about an hour away, with another person in tow, asking if there was a Bank of America branch nearby....all good signs. Acknowledged it was an excellent car, didn't quibble about the price, but said he simply didn't like the way it drives....that he prefers the ride of his Lincoln Town Car!

Congratulations on the sale!
Its hard to beat a vehicle fitted with functioning air ride, it is possible to get spoiled. I not surprised he prefered the towncar ride over the benz

maybe but the front ends on those cars are downright bad! i went over some train tracks in one (at speed
 ) and i thought i was going to lose control of that beast it was washing around so bad!!i was used to driving my 22 y.o. w126 at the time so it was a real shock how bad a 4 year old car (at the time) could handle. Quote:

Sherman Glad you sold it at a price you were happy to part with. I actually have a friend in Dennison who was interested, but he couldn't get himself drive back due to back issues. In fact his W210 was broadsided by Perrin Field in should I say SHERTX!!
