I'm taking offers fellas. Need to move this one out and the tranny issues notwithstanding, it would be a shame to send it to the scrap yard.

Gave it a wash and a bit of a scrubbing to remove the flaking clear coat and it cleans up pretty decent.

To be entirely fair, it's been most of a decade, and the car was already closing in on 300k miles when you sold it back in 09. Nothing lasts forever.

Didn't scrap it. Was too nice for that. What I did do was donate it, through a local 501c3 to someone who needed a car, and the old trooper still has some miles left in it.

Indeed.

It was a good car for the time I had it and virtually trouble free save for a monovalve replacement and the bad vac pods. The fact that it was such a good car is no doubt testament to the time, effort and $$$$ (I have those records

) that Hatterasguy put into it. I couldn't justify continuing to do the same to maintain it in the same fashion. The car certainly owed me nothing and it was time to move it on.
