And my reply to that other post:

Changing oil at that frequency is extreme overkill with modern oils. While the car may be nice, that part of the ad makes it suspect.

I take that as:

The engine is really dirty and needs frequent changes to clean it up.

The fuel system is running super rich and diluting the oil.

Someone told me to do this and I believe them.

I never let the engine warm up so it if full of moisture.

Craigslist hype: Since new, always garaged, never in rain, frequent oil changes using synthetic, hand washed waxed , never smoked in. . .
