As most of you already know, this turbo diesel Mercedes was only sold in the US in 1987, with relatively few sold. I don't believe This will ever go down in value. There just aren't that many left out there. I also have a 1986 diesel with the naturally aspirated 2.5 in it that makes the perfect parts car. The turbo has been professionally converted to a 5 speed manual transmission by a ASE certified mechanic. Runs, drives, shifts flawlessly and would be a daily driver, but it has a cracked windshield so I must replace it before I can get it inspected. I have a place I drive it that is legal right by my house and you can too. I have the old Auto trans. that will go with it (works great!), and the donor car runs and shifts great too! You could put them both on the road, but my son was using the donor as a daily driver and lost the key so I punched out the lock and it would need to be replaced. They're hard to let go of, but I'm forced to liquidate everything right now. I have a Motorhome and other things that have to go too if your interested.
