Could you please just bump your existing threads instead of starting new ones? I think part of the problem is you are new here and instantly started a massive number of WTB threads when all of the same information could have been contained in one thread. And now you are starting threads with basically the same title as other existing threads. Please don't clutter the forum with needless repetition. Thanks.

Contact the Mercedes club of America. Or I would as you want the best example you can get in my opinion. Some of their members like myself are getting older and may want to thin down their cars perhaps.

give it a rest.

bumping every 24 hours is not going to change the fact that you are in the wrong place for this.

It may be a good place to network and feel around as to what your next steps are, but shockingly, there are not hundreds of rare and expensive car owners / collectors just dying to sell their project to you.

especially not on this forum alone.

There's maybe a handful of people on this forum that own a pagoda, I only know of two and neither of them are selling or would be something you want.

on the contrary. seeking to buy a super-rare car on a forum where it often takes 3 days for a post to roll over to the second page and then bumping it from the middle of the page to the top every few days seems like a waste of time and space.

on another forum your post can be on page 3 in a day so it might make more sense over there (although they frown on endless bumping).

you may not want the feedback but it is certainly relevant.

This forum was originally started by cheap diesel guys that own an old Mercedes because they ( and the cars ) were cheap ( = limited market ) so don't expect many high $ cars here even though the list has since expanded.

The SL portion of this list has 10,296 topics 63,184 and posts

The diesel portion of this list has 100,079 topics and 1,161,946 posts

While you might luck out and find someone that doesn't know what they have, the odds are very slim.

If you really want one of these cars, start hitting the antique car dealers as they talk to each other and likely have a car.
