3 mercedes 300CD complte cars, 38# flywheel etc

I have three 300CD's. One I started working on.

The first was a silver car with black interior. It's an 81, non turbo. Engine was rebuilt by the factory at 100k. Front glass is out and I have started taking it apart to work on. This is a solid car that deserves someone fixing. It has black tex interior. I would like to see this one go as a whole car. The interior is pretty nice except for the dash.

The second is an 82CD. It's a turbo car with 169k miles. The compression is excellent, I have photos somewhere. The transmission seems to have the B2 servo issue. It has cancer. The rear glass has started to delaminate. It has tan interior.

The third is one I just bought. It was from the forums and it has an engine issue but the trans seems to be good. It has some rust but no rot that I can see. I haven't spent much time on this so I haven't checked it over well. It has black tex interior and it's in decent shape. The rear window is delaminating.

I have a 4 speed conversion set up. 38# flywheel, pedals, transmission etc.

I could sell the whole shooting match but I figure they will go in parts. Again, the 81 N/A should go to someone who will finish what I started. The other two can be parted fairly easily.

I have a new factory windshield seal I got for the silver car.

Two have the passenger mirrors. I understand that the cars are worth far more in parts. I can do that but it will take time for me to get stuff pulled.

I would like to sell things in logical sets. I don't want to sell one seat from a good interior etc.

I simply don't have time to work on these and I have come to accept that they will never get done since my schedule is just too demanding. I would love to keep one but it isn't going to happen.

I can get photos and I can answer questions to the best of my ability. I can't always answer right away so be patient. I haven't priced things on purpose. That would take forever. I want to be fair. I don't expect to get rich and I won't give the stuff away.

Send questions. Thanks.

I'll check the red car. The yellow one has a hole in the rear. I don't have the means to cut metal but if you do or if you want the whole car, we could work something out.

Question#2--How much do you want for all 3?

Question #1--So you have 3 non running 300cd's?

Well, not exactly. The silver one was to be the one I keep. I started the body work so it's stripped of most of the paint and trim. It runs great but it's a non turbo. I was going to do the 4 speed conversion. Solid car, nice interior.

The yellow one is a turbo, 82. It has cancer. Runs great except for the B2 piston (I think that's what's wrong). Greta compression numbers. Started taking it apart to part out. I was going to keep the engine and some mechanical bits and sell the rest. The red one has some sort of engine issue (knock). Maybe top end, maybe bottom end. Just bought it from a forum member. I really just wanted a spare black interior. It's mosly solid from what I can tell. Someone was interested in the floors. If it ever stops raining, I can check them.

Question#2--How much do you want for all 3?

Talk to me. Certainly worth more if I part them out but that takes time. The one thing I have none of and I finally admitted it.

The silver N/A car had a factory rebuild about 100k miles ago. It's at 212k now (I think). I checked compression on the silver and yellow ones. I have photos of the compression gauge on each cylinder. They were both very healthy. I encourage an inspection if you're interested. The silver and yellow ones are in the garage. The red one is in the driveway. I'll see if I can get photos soon.

The silver one is a good restoration candidate. It seems very solid. The yellow one, well, I can't see it. Prior rust issues (repaired) and flintstone rust in the rear floor. It does have new tires though.

Sunroof cable. Possibly. It won't be anytime soon though. I'm covered up at work.

Looking for rear window regulators for CD, pair if you have them

My rear windows on my beautiful 83 300CD turbo do not operate correctly, hoping you have a pair that work?
