Canada has harmonized with US EPA regs and the car probably would fly with no problems if it has the EPA sticker in the door jam. That's a great TDT, I would be more excited in the drive through NS as I would the car!

On a good note - this year/model does not appear on US list of non conforming cars so that a plus.

Thanks for your comments guys, and no, it does not have an EPA sticker. I was really hoping to sell locally so I'd still see it on the road!:-) Also there are lots of Canadians on this amazing forum.
If you search my posts you will find history on the car, including the transmission challenges, and if it doesn't sell, I'll dig deeper and maybe try a reworked valve body. We've been driving it for years with a switch to kill the vacuum in 4th, and reduced modulator pressure to get an acceptable 2-3 shift, BUT my wife has lost patience and we bought a 2008 ML320CDI. Sigh... Just multiplied the electronics in my life by a factor of 100.

Car sold today, and I'm glad to say it stays in Nova Scotia. Sort out the tranny and the car could still be good 20yrs from now. Sad to see it go but lots of other projects waiting for attention!
