This is for anyone who might live near, zip code 34681, South of Tarpon Springs FL. and might want to take a look at a Beige 82 300D 126,000 miles (odometer & speedometer work-and always have). I am the second owner. Bought in 2001 w/ 94,000 miles.
The BAD:
A/C stopped working mid summer 2016.
Front calipers sticking I will give you 4 new brake hoses, calipers will still be an issue for the new owner.
One dime-size rust spot (not through) on passenger door that developed from a chip.
Doesn't hold vac. very long. (probably dried out hoses?)

The GOOD:
Perfect dash -black, New master cyl., no dented body panels,
-cruise control
-complete front end suspension rebuild 25,000 miles ago (w/ Mercedes OEM parts)
-new (Mercedes OEM) vacuum pump 25,000 miles ago
-rebuilt driveshaft 15,000 miles ago w/ motor & trans mts.
-new glow plugs & valve adjustment 6,000 miles ago
-oil changed once a year @ between 300 - 2,500 mile intervals.
I have a small box, with a few parts Ill throw in: vac. pump core, new valve cover gasket, new bosch mono valve repair kit (the one in the car is 1 1/2 yr. old, and good, a few vac. pods, filters, etc.)

I am selling because I can't really get around like I'd like, and am not able to do the repairs needed very easily. Besides, I have absolutely NO way to repair the A/C without paying someone (I'm sure dearly!). I still really like this car... ...it's just that the car has gotten older, and needs repairs - and I've gotten older, and need a few repairs myself!
I am up in the air about the asking price - 'you know the drill, we'll talk'!
I will also be selling a 70 C 10 Chevy p/u - as soon as I get a replacement p/u. Possible trade for either, or both, of my vehicles towards an extended cab or 4 door GM p/u.($10,000 - $12,000 maximum).
SORRY I have NO pictures now. I will add a link to a craigslist.com posting, that I should have up next week sometime; if I don't sell the car at an old car show in my neighboring town, this weekend.

Matt is a great seller and made the transaction easy as pie. Had a great time sharing Mercedes stories and taking the reins of a really nice car.
