After 12 years of ownership, I have decided to let go of my 1985 190D. I was going to use the transmission to swap into another car, but I have changed my mind. It is a gray market car, so it has manual windows, locks, and sunroof. The car is not really in daily driver condition anymore due to rust issues. Odometer was dead when I bought the car. Mileage is likely over 300k.

It has a 2.0L OM601 instead of the 2.2L that the US cars had. I have the title in hand.

Asking $1200. Location is Deer Creek, IL.

Yea, I feel really bad about the condition this car is in. It is even my favorite color, Surfblau. When I bought it 12 years ago, it was already beyond worth fixing the body and interior. I probably could have bought 2 clean cars for what it would have cost to restore this one. I wish previous owners had taken better care of it. But, I hope the parts live on for a long time to come.
