Saw a SWEET 240D....
at MB Autowerks the other day. Donnie says it's a customer's car, and he's interested in selling it.
It's an 81, MANUAL tranny!!!! Very nice, very clean. Great blue paint, couldn't find any rust anywhere, parchment colored interior is awesome, engine looked very clean. No sunroof. Apparently Donnie has done a lot of work on it, he said it was a great running car, lots of new parts, AC works, etc. It's the cleanest 240D I've seen in a while. If anyone's in the market for one (wish I was...no $$  ) drop a line to the owner. His name is Mike. E-mail: mfield@721sr.com. I only briefly talked to the owner on the phone...he said he hadn't given it a lot of thought yet...I'd guess he's probably going to start at $4000, maybe more, judging from the condition. I think he knows it's nice, he didn't seem "unaware." I didn't get into talking money any further, since I don't have the $$$ myself.
