I want to gauge interest for my 92 300D as I'm looking to offload the car in the next few weeks or month.

I have put a lot of time into the car and effort to make it run good.

It has the following:
188K Engine Swapped in from a 93 300D (the chassis has 310K on it)
Newer transmission from MB reman that looks like it was put in about two years before the donor car was taken off the road around 2010 or 2011.
New trans mount
A 8/10 grey MB tex interior and crack-free dash


The bad:
Flex discs they're worn
Center support bushing which I have new in a box
Wheel bearings (which I'll install if someone buys it)
It does have rust, but nothing bad (it's lived in PA/NJ all its life)
The front bumper is trashed but I have a decent one to go with it that I'll paint white to match the car
It needs a muffler

I want $2000 for it OBO. it's definitely a great beater to drive around for awhile.

Come get it! 1500 this weekend then back to 1750. This car has a great engine and trans. It starts up in the coldest temperatures and has plenty of power. The ultimate compression test right there

I'm seeing body rust showing on that car in a photo on Post #10. Have you tried to treat that rusting area?

I have not Joe. It's one of those things that if you do treat it, it would get way worse. The P.O. did try fixing it before. It's one of those cars that's got a great drivetrain and you could drive it around for a few years and not care about it if it's dented or dinged.

Btw bump. Really want to get rid of it. 1500 obo considering there is a lot of good parts on it. I might trade if it but if that xoesnt happen I'll drive it into the ground

You really need more and better pictures, especially of the engine bay and any issues, such as the rust spots, if you want anyone here to consider it seriously. The cell phone screenshots really aren't cutting it.

Also, things like whether the sunroof and AC work properly, since those are very common failure points.
