1971 280SE - Just 90k mi - Excellent condition.

See this classic beauty here: http://charleston.craigslist.org/cto/6223857231.html

This luxury, Mercedes Benz sedan is in excellent condition and is the epitome of style and class. It has just 90,000 miles on its 3.5 Liter engine that starts up immediately and runs strong. It has been garaged kept and well maintained. It has no engine, transmission or any other known mechanical issues. No rust. The tires have 95% tread. Owned by a non-smoker.

All power options work, including the sunroof. It has a clean title and comes with the original owner's manuals (in English and German). This classic car looks and runs great! Own this German beauty for just $21,900 (Negotiable).

Your listing says it is a 6cyl. The 3.5 is a V8
You should also include the chassis - W109 or W108
Looks like a 108 to me, but I was under the impression that only the 300SE's had the 3.5.
The steering wheel looks like it is from a '73 or newer.
Paint looks really nice.

It's a w108; the w109 was the air-suspended 300SEL-only, regardless of engine. The 280SE was available with the 3.5. The rear bumper is the euro-style with the license plate illumination bulbs located in a unit attached to the center-top of the rear bumper, as opposed to the North American system, which had a pair of bulb housings flanking each side of the license plate.
