For Sale : 1990 190e 2.6 $750 obo

I am selling a 1990 190e 2.6L

I picked it up from a friend on Saturday that was moving out of town.

Runs and drives. Drives fairly decent for one that's been sitting. It really

came back to life when I filled the tank with fresh fuel. I charged the battery

yesterday and so far it is starting the engine. We'll see if it will start on its

own this evening after sitting overnight and all day...

All the lights work

Tires hold air.

Brakes are there but kinda soft.

Body is straight, has very minor door dings.

I have not found any rust. I will do a deep probe/cavity search and update

this ad if I find rust.

Upholstery is the best thing about the car.

Trunk lock is damaged. Interior is filthy. Wood trim is yucky. Only one

window works (you'll have to go through the drive-through backwards)

LOTS of heat, no a/c. I may feel like checking the refrigerant and charging if

that will make it work.

The 190e has the typical itchy, flaky skin condition that so many of them

suffer from.

Somebody please give this little critter a good home. It is currently being

intimidated by my E320 sitting next to it in the driveway. (I think the little

car is suffering from M104 envy...)

The car is stored at Canyon Lake, TX between San Antonio and Austin.

Bring a trailer.

I may entertain a trade offer. I may even deliver IF you have a W114/W115

to trade.

Simpler=Better,

Just kidding

I have the whole rear suspension I'm selling out of another 190e but it was a

2.3L

Are they different ratios?

TX,

I want to say around 209k but I can't remember exactly.

I got the car Saturday afternoon and just spent a little time playing around with

it yesterday.

I'll check the odometer this evening and let you know.

If you send a PM I'll give you my direct contact info so we can communicate

quicker.

I started it when I got home. It cranked a bit slow but started. So the battery is holding for now but a bit weak. However after it idled for a few minutes I shut it
off, let it sit for ten minutes then came back and started it again. It cranked
strong and again started right up.

It is what it is...

Sorry I forgot ot check back in. If it's a 190E, and has a limited slip rear end, the magic bits inside the differential can be removed & reworked to fit w123s. So I'm casually on the lookout for one.

Yes Sir I have one. Do you need it removed from the housing or will you take the whole assembly?

Can you say what it's worth?

Let me know and I'll prepare what you need.

Once I know what to send I'll get a quote for shipping

For folks out there just tuning in, the LSD carrier I've been chatting about with SIMPLER=BETTER is from another vehicle so you can rest easy now...

This 190e 2.6 is still complete, running and driving and just waiting for YOU

to come get it.

STILL for the low price of $700 or best offer

Don't delay, act now, supplies are limited, etc, etc...

I picked it up from a friend that was moving out of town.

I have been cleaning it up since I first posted the ad.

Runs and drives fairly decent for one that's been sitting.

All the lights work.

Brakes are good.

Power windows and seats work.

Body is straight, has very minor door dings. I have not found any rust.

Upholstery is the best thing about the car.

Trunk lock is damaged.

Wood trim is yucky.

Tires are old.

Clearcoat is peeling off.

Come drive this car. It's solid and dependable
