Well, it is now a parts car. Got woken up by a neighbor. Car was in fire. I had a battery tender hooked up, and it was cranking fine. Found I needed a new primer pump. So I left to batter tender on. Appears a rat chewed through the cords...Right front caught fire.

Lost the right side fender, the grill, hood, front bumper, rt front tire, and appears to have lost the air cleaner battery, and anything plastic or rubber under the hood, on the passenger side. Cannot get the hood open as the release cable also burned.

Now it is a parts car. The interior did not burn. So I am going to call a scrap yard.

I do have the warning triangle. Also have a 2.88 rear end and matching odometer. And I have a rear seat back with the head rests and brackets. Oh, also have the Sanden 509 compressor and mounting brackets. All this was to be installed.

The car still has its 3.07 rear underneath.

I'll take the warning triangle. Sorry to hear. Rats are the worst. I catch them in glue traps and throw them right in the trash.

How much do you want for it as is?

As recall, scrap price is $300. So $300, or if people are local, they can come and pick and pull parts, engine and tranny should be good. I do not know how to open the hood since the safety release is now gone. Hood is closed only one notch.

Shame you can't get the hood open. The extent of the damage doesn't actually look to be that bad. If the unibody itself is okay, one could probably restore it just fine.

If you weren't 6 hours away, I'd come grab it, but I too lack time to do anything with another car at the moment.
