Fs 1982 300 Cd

Not mine and I have no financial interest. Belongs to a member of my church who just changed jobs and no longer has a company car. I've never seen this car, but the owner is a real meticulous guy. All I know is listed below, copied from an e-mail he sent. If you have an interest, his e-mail address is funkharrya@netscape.net. Owner's name is Harry Funk.

car that has value as a special interest vehicle........

> 1982 Mercedes Benz 300CD, 2-door hardtop, 4-passenger (5-passengers with
the fold-down rear armrest raised) with 145,000 miles. This car was very
well maintained by an exclusively German car repair garage.

> Body is very solid--I never drove this vehicle in winter and I believe it
must have been stored most winters, judging by the body condition.
> 5-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine--runs very well and is very strong,
uses no excessive oil, starts easily.
>
> 4-speed Automatic transmission shifts very solidly, no known problems with
it.

> Except for the aftermarket cruise control, this car is absolutely stock,
and has not been modified, to my knowledge.

> Power Sunroof with integral spoiler works well.

> Deluxe Mercedes alloy wheels, with stock alloy wheel/full-size spare tire
>
> New battery
>
> European ZELMOT high-power H4 headlights and BOSCH fog lamps
>
> OEM Becker AM/FM/Cassette radio--rear speakers do now work.
>
> Bridgestone Touranza tires in good shape with >50% tread remaining.
>
> These are the only things that do not work and need repaired:
> ----The air conditioner compresser leaks, and will not stay charged with
Freon. (It will need to be rebuilt/replaced for the air conditioning to
work.)
> ----The left rear (power) window does not lower or raise.
> ----The aftermarket cruise control does not work.
