Like a benz, but with a 5 speed

I thought this car might be of interest to a Mercedes enthusiast (like myself) who wanted a well-engineered full-size sports sedan with a manual transmission, since Ma Benz didn’t send many 5 speeds to the states. One of my favorite cars ever was my 1967 230 with the four speed on the floor. Its too bad most of the Mercedes of recent vintage come with automatics.

I agree that M-B fans should be interested, but

I suggest that you also try the appropriate bulletin board of bimmer.org

to be honest...and this isn't a bash on BMW...as i originally was looking at the 5 series and 7 series (used) as my first deutsch Auto.....after driving a benzie, i don't think i'd ever be into a BMW...
