FS: 1992 300E Pearl Gray/Cream Beige, SWEET!
I am sad to say that I am selling my very first Benz. It has 114,000 pampered miles. Recent $2000 maintenance at authorized Mercedes dealer (Midtown Imports, Pekin IL.) It has just about all options that were offered that year. Interior is impeccable without a crack in the zebrano wood, leather is in fine condition. Exterior is in excellent condition with some minor door dings. Paint is original and glossy. Upgrades include: Bosch European headlights, clear corners, smoke/black tail lights, 17" AMG MonoblockII's from Bekker's Imports shod with 215-45-17 Dunlop SP9000's with about 80% tread (that's a very conservative estimate), AMG stainless steel door sills, sportline front sway bar, stainless steel brake lines, premium 10 speaker audio system with 10 disc CD changer in trunk. The only thing I can think of that may need a quick fix is the coolant level sensor needs replacing. The yellow coolant indicator light occasionally glows yellow even if the coolant level is at maximum. I had this checked at the above dealer who agreed that was the problem but I didn't think it was a large enough problem to fix for what they wanted. Other than that, this baby runs smooth and clean. I never thought I'd get rid of it but a new family member forces sale. The new owner will not be disappointed. For an older body style, this car still turns heads! I may be persuaded to throw in a set of brand new, unused H&R sport springs, Mahle oil filters, various 124 workshop manuals, and other 124 parts that I have never used. I also have the original 15" wheels with knock-off tires that you can have for winter. Thanks!
