1983 300TD for Sale
1983 Mercedes 300tdt Wagon for sale:
Located in Springfield, NJ 167k miles (original owner did 137k) Gray with black leather interior MB roof rack and cross bars Original cargo area cover and seat to roof net. Sun roof Cruise control Pwr windows AC (blows really cold...just recharged with r12) Alpine AM/Fm cassette with cd changer in rear cargo storage area with new Pioneer speakers front and rear What's new in it over the last three years: MB trans installed by Ray Katena MB in Edison NJ MB exhaust from turbo out Lower ball joints front Bilsteins engine shocks motor mounts rack damper pin monovalve tail gate shocks brake pads, rotors, and wheel bearings rear tailgate lock valve headlight covers hella headlights Radiator flush Rear suspension flush (auto level works perfectly) Block heater Current registration Current state inspection No blow by.. Probably other things as well. I have ALL (yes all...) maintenance records from NEW....I have all original paper work from dealer except the window sticker(owners manual, radio instruction, metal delivery tag, etc). All oil changes done with synthetic oil. Fuel filters changed at every oil change. The car is an east coast casr so it does have a little rust but nothing serious. I do mean very little rust. The paint is original and teh car has never been hit. I have purchased a POR rust prevention kit but have not applied it yet. Tires are about 75%, they are Michelin X's. Known issues with the car: Tach operates sparatically Temperature gauge reads high sparatically(aux fan works perfect) Dash board dimmer sticks sometimes Antenna does not extend fully(probably just dirty.. I'll check that out) Middle vents do not open automatically(I can open the valve manually... from what I have read I can get to the actuator arm through the glove box...I'll check this out as well) That's about it... the car runs wonderfully.. I just needed a little more room. With the sale, the car comes with the MB service manual on Cd, Clymer manual, Original 1983 MB model year brochure, extra fuel filters, oil filters, a K&N air filter, original becker radio, and original headlights. I'm asking $4500.. it's worth it....This car is extremely solid and has been very well maintained. I've tried my best to depict this vehicle to the best of my ability. I'm sure some of the entusiasts out there may pick apart my descriptions of some items but I know I have been very straight forward with the description of the car. The Car is being sold "as is" and you are welcome to come and drive it, nit pick, etc. The new owner of this vehicle will be very pleased. That was a nice wagon. Why are you selling it? Did you get another MB?

wagon for sale
I needed more room for the kids and thier friends. Seating for 5 wasn't cutting it anymore. I purchased a 2002 VW Eurovan. Really cool vehicle with a lot of the same charateristics of the Benz less the diesel..
The kids love it, wife hates it, but it's mine. The Benz will find a good home and someone will have a great car. later, -A |
