I have an 85 380SL, 90000 actual starts rough

Upon starting, which seems to take more revolutions than I think it should, It starts but misses for a few minutes, then smooths out and seems to run excellent through the realm of 70 80 mph, I have driven it only 2000 milles, I just acquired it in Reno Nev, it was a Hawaii, California car, also euro version, (short bumpers). I took it to a local private MB shop, they checked the fuel pressure said it was ok, they said I should change the fuel distributor? and change all the injectors.
I would like some opinions on this, I have the car for sale but dont want to sell some one an expensive repair, is there any chance it will clear up with use of B12 in the gas? this shop said 1800 for parts and a total of 2400 dollars, I see rebuilt fuel distribution units for 450 dollars is this a good bet? Is there anyway to tell injectors problem from fuel distributor? I would appreciate a rapid reply. Robert Johnston 8173265151 myrabob@hcnews..com
