Bill is as close to an MB junkie as you can get. ..always has a work or two "in progress". He maintains my three vehicles and has sold a couple to my son. Good mechanic and reasonably priced for his labor...parts make me want to cry sometimes though. ha!

To the folks inquiring, I'd give Bill high marks on anything he puts together.

The 190E is a very suitable race platform. Consider that it was the car that MB used as its return to factory racing, albeit the 16V in the German DTM series. The chassis is pretty stiff for a production car and since it was designed to use many of the W124 parts, it's not quite a dead end for upgrade parts.

I really want to turbocharge my 190E 2.6 5-SPEED but I do not want to spend 10K to do it. Seems like the 2.6 litre engine will easily take another 100 HP without any mods to the short block. Any suggestions ? Local hot rod shop would prefer me to supply the plumbing parts instead of fabricating from scratch.
