There is an '87 model with under 130k miles in the Macon, Ga. paper (478) 738-9378. The guy is asking $7500 but the ad has run for awhile so he may be open to offers.

I think another member on here is working on trying to purchase it. It does not need alot of work to make it right. You may want to get the fella a call.

sure is beautiful!!! But the selling price US$20,000 is very high. I wish there was one like that up here in Canada (Toronto).

THERE'S ONE IN CLEVELAND WITH 72K MILES FOR $13,999 & ONE IN KANSAS CITY WITH 154K MILES FOR $7900.

For the 1987 300SDL with 72,000 miles, the Kelly blue book says the private party price is $5175, if it is in good condition. If it is excellent condition, the price jumps to $5,650.. You can check it out for yourself. Please note I used a New York zip code. Are the prices lower or higher in Ohio? How come these guys want almost double the value?

THE BOOK CANT BE USED IN SOME INSTANCES WHERE SUPPLY IS SO LIMITED AND DEMAND SO HIGH.... MY FRIEND BOUGHT A 1991 350 SDL WITH 8K MILES, YES 8 THOUSAND MILES, IN PERFECT SHAPE FOR $26,000....seller was asking $33,000. TURNS OUT THAT CAR AT THE DEALER AUCTION WOULD BRING OVER $28,000 SO GO FIGURE....YOU JUST CANT USE THE BOOK VALUES ON LOTS OF BENZES ESPECIALLY THE SL CONVERTIBLE ROADSTERS.
