83-300D Silver with blueMB interior. Only a few small surface rust spot. Int is very good. Timing chain broke and caused some damage. The engine and trans are out. This car is in to good of shape to part out. PO had put in many new parts. I have his reciepts. OR I will consider buying your rust monster if it has a good engine and fiarly price (cheap). I am located in Allentown, Pa.

I know of a guy in Ohio that has a good engine and trans for a 300D that you probably could get pretty cheap. He sold me a 90 350SDL and a 83 300D. He told me he had the engine and trans and would sell them to me also. I didnt need them or have any place to store them so I passed. I'm pretty sure he still has them. I could try to contact him for ya' if you are interested.

I think he was asking a grand for both of them. I think the mileage was around 113k.

1985 300D

I've have an '82 300 CDT that I'll be parting out withing a month or so, I just need to scavage off some small parts for my '83.

The '82 was hit broadside (drivers door) just before xmas. The car ran fine prior to the accident. Engine didn't burn any oil. Odometer broke at 214k.....I guestimate the actual mileage is closer to 230k. Since it was winter I let the engine run for about 15 minutes after the collision just to keep me warm. I shut it down when I noticed I was loosing coolant.
