Hello all,

I am putting my 1992 500E up for sale EXCLUSIVLY on mercedesshop.com for 7 days. The car is silver on black, in great shape, all records, with 103,xxx miles as of 3/25/2003. It has the 10 disk changer.

I am going to list in the auto mags and on autotrader on 4/1/2003 if I can't find a 'good home' here, among the faithful. The price will be $22,900 as of 4/1/2003. If I can find the right buyer here, before I have to spend a lot of cash to list the car, I will sell it for $19,950 FIRM.

The car is mainly stock. I did the headlights and the filter (K&N) and the phone is digital. (After 4/1/2003 I keep the phone).


I will try and get some of my pictures up, not sure how to do the 'album' that so many have.......

By the way,

My tech is also a used dealer and he is going to have the car after 4/1/2003 'on consignment'. Why do you care? IF you want to do a 'used DEALER' purchase we can run it through him and if you use someone like peoplefirst.com you get a LOWER RATE if you are buying from a dealer.

This car was at the (now) legendary NorthEast 500E GetToGether of 2002 at Tackmans.

Thanks to Jim and Michael for the help getting and installing the euro style headlights.

You bet I'll be at the Concorse, Dave...Sunday will be a multi-marque taligate/GTG in the same parking lot as last year where we met up.

Along with hopefully another dozen 500Es will be a 355 Ferrari Spyder, Countach, a couple of new M3s, several S-cars and maybe even a new RS6.
What will you be driving up? SL 55?

Wow,

I just took a look at autotrader and the price of these cars seems to be going up!

I will stick with my original price of $19,950 for either of the 4 people who are in the process of looking at the car.

I am working on my autotrader ad and it will be listed at $22,900.
