Wanted: Gotta be a turbo, 300CD or 300D. I'm in California but will travel for the right car. I don't work on 'em much myself so seeking something that looks and runs great or whatever it needs it's priced accordingly. Please reply with good information and price wanted, and location.

In AutoTrader.com there is a 1984 300CD Turbo for sale in the Gainesville, Florida area. I actually ran into the guy last week and talked for about 2 minutes (he was in a hurry to get somewhere.) The car appeared to be in nice shape. View the ad below. If you are interested you can call him, and if you wish I'd be willing to look at if for you and take some photos. Now, just like yourself I'm not mechanically inclined as to what looks good or not. Let me know.

Check www.craigslist.org in Bay Area. There are several 300CDs listed. I've seen the one listed in Hayward for $3500.00 and it's cherry.

If you get to L.A. , always check out www.recycler.com for Mercedes between 1977-1985, it'll blow your mind.

I have a 1983 300CD for sale. It has 197k, all original, no rust. Everything works. If interested let me know and I will email you some pictures.

Also, look for 123c in the Open Discussion board. I can't remember if his 300CD is a turbo or not, but I believe he's selling it. He's up in Washington.
