Fs: 1981 300 Sd
 

I'm selling my 81' 300 SD, last night the transmission went, and I do not have the ability, time, or a place to undertake such a project considering the car has quite a few little problems here and there.

Foremost the problems I know about:
*Blown tranny
* Needs a paintjob
* Body isn't in great shape, I'd rate it 5/10
* Scrape in back bumper 3" x 2"
* Blower motor doesn't work
* Power antenna doesn't work
* Glass is cracked on one foglight (still works)
* Half moon shape crack on the upmost part of the windshield about 2 1/2" x 2" (passed inspection)
* Rear windshield has marks from bad rear window seal

The good:
BF Goodrich tires w/ less than 3,500 miles on them
Recent (Since March) maintenance (oil & filter, p/s fluid & filter, air filter, all 5 glow plugs, new belts)
Seats are dark brown and in good shape, the driver's seat has 1 tear, the rest are in nice shape.
Some new parts here and there, hood release, trunk seal, etc.
*Some extra parts that I've acquired, blower motor, wiper motor, valve cover gasket (new), at filter (new), center console wood (good cond.), etc. will be thrown in

Overall:
To look at the car, you can tell it's not perfect, the PO's had neglected it, and I was trying to work it back to great shape again. The car does get quite a few compliments, and IMO is far from an eyesore. The engine seems to run strong, and after I started running synthetic oil & new glow plugs, I didn't have a problem starting it even in single digits.

The car will have to be picked up at my house, since it's of course unable to be driven.
