Well, as much as I love her, I'm buying my dad's '87 300D from him, so I've got to sell the '85.
I'll post pics as soon as I have some more time. Thought I'd at least get the word out in the meantime.
'85 Mercedes 300D, 150k miles, champagne exterior, original paint, black leather interior, great condition, almost everything works (I'll make an exact list when I get a chance to post some pics), runs great, transmission shifts well, decent Michelins, a great driver that's begging to go 350k miles. I'll tell all about her history, what I've done, what little things she could use, etc. soon. I'd love to get $5000 (and it's a lot of car for $5000) but I'll certainly entertain offers. Let me know if you're interested - it'll motivate me to get *all* the info up.
If you're looking for a W123, this is a great one to have. Seems to me that by the last year, many of the kinks were ironed out, though I don't guess there were too many to begin with.
