Hi Everyone:

Well, I have a nice Sage Green 1992 Mercedes 300D 2.5 for sale. I accidentally won it in an E-Bay auction and the seller wouldn't let me back out of the deal. I mistakenly hit the "Buy It Now" button and thought I was simply placing a bid. It is a very nice car, but I really wasn't ready for another "addition" to my MB Family.

I will post a link to my Autotrader Ad if you're interested. I went ahead and set up an auction ad to see if it will sell. Everything seems to work on the car except the cruise control. The A/C is cold, paint looks nice, dings are minimal, and the tex is in like-new condition. There are a few scratches in the wood, but they aren't really noticeable. It has a clean carfax and is a one-owner car with all books and records from a dealer in Texas. The carpets and mats are perfect and the sunroof works well too! Oh, I almost forgot to mention that it also has a beautiful crack-free dash on it. Please help me find a new home for it. I already have an 87 300D and I was really wanting a 300SD or SDL instead.

I guess I'll live and learn not to play too much on ebay.

You are correct. I just found out that the dealer forgot to pull the ad on the car. It is the same car and it is now in Washington State. Thanks for pointing this out to me. Apparently they relisted it with some other cars.

Thanks for following through on the purchase. I've had a few people buy cars from me and flake out before they even show up. I'd let someone out of the deal if they didn't like it, but one guy was claiming his 'loan didnt go through'... On ebay, that really sucks because it takes forever to get the fees back...
