Here is your chance to acquire a rare Audi 5000 CS Turbo Quattro with the MC engine, 5 speed manual transmission and all wheel drive. Increasingly hard to come by, Quattro Turbos are a blast to drive thanks to the 2.2 in-line 5 cylinder with a turbocharger and permament AWD with lockable differentials.

I bought mine last summer and spent a considerable amount of time and $$$ bringing it back to more or less stock condition. All typical problems plaguing old 5000s– leaking steering racks, PS hoses, turbos and radiators - were taken care of. The water pump and timing belt are new. So are the brakes and tires. Original Audi Stereo provides quality sound and power sunroof is great idea for a sunny day. The electronic gizmos (ABS, power windows, 8-way power seats with memory, trip computer) work fine. The odometer shows 166K miles and the engine runs smooth with no smoke or abnormal oil consumption. It generates 160 HP but can be inexpensively upgraded to over 200HP with the 1.8 bar chip.

There are still a couple of item that may need attention such as worn out 3rd gear syncro that likes to make grinding noise upon downshifting. Don’t even plan on buying this car if you don’t know how to double-clutch and heel-and-toe. Also, the AC doesn’t blow cold air. The car is not perfect cosmetically - the paint is faded on hood and trunk and could use compounding. There is a dent on the drivers’ door and a few scratches here and there. A couple of tiny rust spots on the fender and on the trunk. Inside, the driver and passenger seats are worn out but a pair of leather seats in like-new condition will be included with the car.
