1982 560 SEL Spotted for Sale
Spotted a nice 82 model 560 at a car lot in Weatherford Texas. 87 thousand miles, everything works, good paint and decent interior. Light blue/dark blue. It appears to be a Euro model (small bumpers and euro lights). Drives well, needs a muffler. It can be bought for about $2500.00.
I dont own this car or have interest in it, just passing on info. It is at Buz Post Hundayi in Weatherford, TX |

Someone should get this car, it has too much potential to let pass by. I would have gotten it if I had not just bought a really nice 420SEL.

No such thing as an '82 560 anything... either the year is wrong or the person threw a 560 badge on it.

Sure it's not a 500SEL?

OOPS! I reported what was on the car without without further research. You guys are right, there is no 82 560. So... now I will tell you what I know that might help solve the mystery. It has the hydropnuematic rear suspension, I remember seeing that. It is an SEL, definitely a long car. It seemed pretty powerful (acceleration wise), so maybe a 500. Still a very attractive car for a pretty good price, tiny bumpers and euro headlights make it look pretty nice. Good paint, all the subsystems were working. Definitely an older S class, the dash is somewhat different from mine. Oh, also a dry trunk.
Just trying to see a nice old MB go to an enthusiast. DFW is full of these cars, (S Class), for sale, but nice looking ones without working A/C and such are the norm |

Do you think the spots will polish out?
I'm sorry, sometimes I just can't resist getting punny.
