This is great info.
Can you confirm that the “repair kit”, which above is listed for 617.952 and 617.912, is also suitable for w123 616 engines? Also, since the gasket for the pump linked above is NLA, is this a suitable replacement? NLA: https://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/ksearch/pel_search_2016.cgi?SUPERCAT_FLAG=Y&make=MBZ&please_wait=N&forumid=&threadid=&command=DWsearch&descr iption=0010742280&I1.x=7&I1.y=12 Possible alternate: https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/616074008064MBZ.htm?pn=616-074-00-80-64-MBZ&bt=Y&fs=0&SVSVSI= Similarly, since the “seal ring” and “spring are NLA, what’s the best way forward for 617.952 and 616 owners? Thanks!

Thanks/agree; challenge is that I’d like to refresh the pumps on my 300cd and my 240D.
As I understand it, the lift pumps, internal valves, and sealing gaskets to the block are all somewhat different. Assuming that’s the case, would it be possible to get part numbers and Pelican links for those in here as a single point of truth? It looks like pelican is claiming the 616 part number for IP gasket (triangle shaped) is suitable in my 617 for that gasket (trapezoid shape). It’s also saying the rebuild kit is the same; but I thought the 240D pump had a different type of valve. Also, what about the very small o-ring inside that seems to be a critical part?
